EY Studio+
Learning by building, across client work, research, and AI experimentation
Summary
During my internship at EY Studio+, I worked across a Fortune 500 client engagement and internal design initiatives exploring emerging generative AI tools. From client work to rapid prototyping, the summer became an exercise in learning, building, and experimenting quickly.
My Contribution
As an intern, I contributed to experience design for an entertainment client. I also tested emerging AI tools and built prototypes to understand what they could do. Separately, I noticed similar experiments happening across Studio+ with no shared place to find them, so I built and deployed a website to bring our AI experimentation projects across EY Studio+ together.

Testimonials
Reflections from the people I worked alongside
Her engagement team, including the Senior Manager and Partner, consistently shared positive feedback and expressed how impressed they were with her performance
Engagement Manager
…she also introduced methodological approaches that strengthened the rigour of the work, such as using LLM prompting and evaluating different models to test and refine the outputs.
Senior UX Researcher
Priya was instrumental in translating the thinking into a client-ready format, with a design that communicated the most relevant aspects clearly and effectively.
Senior Designer
My experience of working with Priya on the project has been extremely positive.
Senior Product Designer
She actively looked for opportunities to expand her experience beyond her engagement by volunteering to present at the Design Crit and Design Research community calls.
Senior Product Designer
She is highly switched on: she communicates her perspective confidently, asks thoughtful questions that often prompt me to reconsider or sharpen my own thinking, and takes care to confirm her understanding before progressing.
Design Manager
Reflection
This summer reminded me how much I love to experiment.
Key Takeaways
Follow my curiosity
Experiment with emerging AI tools to understand what they could make possible for design
Using AI and prototyping tools to rapidly iterate and make interactions feel tangible
Learn in public
Put unfinished ideas in front of others while there's plenty of room to question and reshape them
How I Use AI
AI to complete defined tasks:
Prompt intentionally to generate useful outputs
Actively identify repetitive tasks AI can automate
Use my own judgment to continuously evaluate and refine outputs
AI as a tool for experimentation:
Experiment with new capabilities and tools daily
Rapidly prototype multiple design directions with AI tools
Learn what's possible and what isn't by building
