…I'd traded my pipette for a sketchbook, and found that I liked that a whole lot more. I spent hours modeling 3D protein structures in PyMOL. Through that, I realized I was drawn not only to the research itself, but to the process of making complex scientific ideas understandable through visual storytelling.

My freshman year of college, I pick up a fallen club poster, and that’s how I found Berkeley Innovation, my first exposure to UX design. I finally had a word for the things I’d always loved: empathy, strategy, storytelling, and building.

And now, I design for a living. I’m reclaiming my sense of being a maker, learning AI tools like Cursor and Claude to prototype, build, and tinker again. In the process, I’m nurturing my inner scientist, one pixel at a time.
